Welcome to the Maryland Chapter HFMA Website.  This website is designed to help you maximize your membership in both the Maryland Chapter and National HFMA as well.  Please view this website as a tool to get the latest information on upcoming chapter events and news.  It provides a list of our chapter leaders, committees and bylaws.  I encourage you to review the chapter committees and volunteer events and consider joining in this important work in our chapter.  This website serves as a link to National HFMA “knowledge center”, education and events, which provide access to a wealth of information as part of your membership. 

This year is very special with Maryland’s Debi Kuchka-Craig as National HFMA Chair and the celebration of our chapter’s 40^th anniversary of our Annual Institute in Cambridge, MD on October 6^th - 8^th.  This year, Debi’s theme is “Step Up”.  What better way is there to support HFMA than to step up and volunteer?  I can tell you from personal experience, it’s the best way to get the most out of HFMA and will pay dividends in your career when you least expect it. 

Also please note our website lists the organizations that sponsor many of our educational events.  Their generous donations have enabled our chapter to provide high quality educational programs at reasonable costs.  Please thank them and let them know how much you enjoy the opportunity our educational events present.
